I know some people on here were asking if Twitter is any good for people in the non-techy, non-IM market.
twitter moms has a whole list of mothers who twitter and is broken down into groups as well, like scrapbooking Twitter moms, green Twitter moms (that would be ecologically conscious, not Martian), Twitter moms who blog on fashion and beauty, etc.
So by following them and their followers you can find a targeted, non-tech crowd.
Remember, don't spam and send out affiliate links. Pretend you are at a business convention. Shmooze. Let people get to know you. Win them over with your deadly charm.
