Request about Digital delivery

Hello all,

I just wanted to know which program do you suggest to use when selling info products
I mean that can handle all the process from sales page to automatic delivery
(secure delivery with Paypal,2Checkout,Paydot.com and possibly others)

I am very tired to do all manually..lol..

If included also affiliate function,that should be amazing..

I checked out Rapid Action Profits and DLGuard PHP script sales pages
seems RAP is more expensive.. what is the main difference between these ones?

Which one do you suggest?

Rhonda, i used e-junkie and the $7 bucks script before.

All i want to say is both of these can only be considered during the initial start of your IM career. The truth is, both of this is lacking in a lot of features and functionalities that other offers you.

For instance, e-junkie affiliate system is crap, while 7 bucks script is easily hackable.

Just sharing what i know so you know what lies ahead.

I do not have either of the scripts DLgurad or RAP, so I can't say anything about them from an owmer point of view. What I can say though, is that anytime I have purchased something suing DLG, the process has been seamlessly easy, the emails always show up in my box, my download link works and its fast.

Some questions still regarding DLguard,does it include builtin affiliate
system.? I mean just like those Paypal based 50% and 100% automatic direct commission PHP based methods I have seen a lot recently.

If not, are you Sam planning to develop something like that in DLGuard?
and what about DLGuard updates if new features included,is it free or paid then.

Is it hacker secure? It is important,for I have got hacked once,one of my Joomla based website got hacked,but fortunately it was quite easy to resolve
when I noticed it.

Does installation work with all linux based PHP 4 and PHP 5 based servers?
Does it need any specific adjustment in Cpanel,before installation?
I am quite familiar with PHP servers so minor problems are not serious.
I am using BlueHost based server where I am planning to install DLGuard if I buy it.

I'm currently developing a full affiliate system for DLGuard that will come out in a Pro version later in the year.

By the "direct commission", are you talking about split paymens where the customer pays twice - half to the vendor, half to the affiliate?


DLGuard is very secure, and I've spent a lot of time testing it out. Before I started writing DLGuard, I joined a "learn to hack" website (a legal one) that teaches you basic to advanced hacking. With that knowledge, I built DLGuard to be solid.

I know at least a few DLGuard owners have tried to break into their own system but haven't been able to.

Yes, DLGuard works with Linux (as well as other OS's), with both PHP 4 or 5.

There's no adjustments to be made in cPanel - the only thing you need to do is set up a MySQL database (DLGuard will automatically populate it for you, setting all the tables up etc.).

You need IonCube Loaders as well, but Bluehost have an option in their control panel to install these. I can give you hand if needed.

There seems to be several solutions for digital delivery..so comparing pros and cons without purchasing them all is a bit difficult..

Anyway after some surf and serch by google and reading others experiencies
and reviews I return always to DLguard :-)

I am considering to buy it now,but I still have some questions for Sam..

How PLR sofware selling with ready made sales pages must be done with DLguard? I suppose there is some basic PHP files for product items and editable HTML based template editor so that it is not needed to edit pages with separate HTML editor?

How automatic this process is?

Yes I am talking something like that,and also 100% commission for affiliate systems (anyway it seems these methods could be very fraud sensible
if payment links are not encrypted)

I'm glad you keep coming back to DLGuard - thanks for the support!

With your 100% commission, DLGuard doesn't have a built in feature for this. I may release a plug-in for it, though, so I'll make a note of this.


With your product, am I right in saying that you have software, and some HTML sales templates that come along with it?

I'd recommend zipping all the sales page templates into one file, and put the software into a different zip file.

This way, on your download page DLGuard will display two download links - one for the software, one for the templates.


Keep in mind that DLGuard will protect ALL extra or bonus files that are included in your pack - I was talking to someone a few days back that mentioned that he couldn't find any other system that offered multiple files that were fully protected (they'd protect the main files, but the bonus files were unprotected).

DLGuard protects them ALL.

This is not a stupid answer, it's just that you want the bread butter and soup as a freebie to the main course, oh and probably the free pudding (desert too!)

There isn't one program out there that will do what you want, the one that comes closest in my opinon is DLGUARD! hands down or thumbs up! whichever makes more sense.

DLguard has not built in HTML editor to edit sales pages for PLR products?

I meant when asked,if DLguad has builtin default PHP code parts where I can add
my template HTML code parts inside the program itself without needs to edit my own sales pages for the product itself separately with other outside the program HTML editor?

That way process is easier and less time comsuming if this is possible and then point
promotion campaign for that sales page.

Is DLguard able to do that process and save my own sales pages to some folder under the program?

I know how eg. PLR products files structure is and how it must be done zipping sales page templates and program itself in separate zip files. I have made all that manually so far ..lol.
encrypting my links then with separate tools.

Yes, that's right - DLGuard doesn't have an HTML builder built into it.

Basically you'd just use whichever program you currently use to create your sales pages.

There is probably HTML editors around that will allow you to create a lot of sales pages quickly - possible XSitePro? That's a common one!

I'd take another look at "Rapid Action Profits". It does pretty much everything you mentioned you were looking for, and then some.

I have several friends that use it and they say it has simplified there lives tremendously.

You mentioned RAP being more expensive that DLGuard, but DLGuard only allows you to install it on 2 websites. RAP allows installs on multiple sites.

A quote for the RAP website: "There's no limit to how many websites you install the system on - or how many products you set up on each web site."

So it depends on how many sites you are planning on monitizing. You can install it on all of your sites and control everything from one "Admin Panel".

Hey, it even takes care of each affiliates tax information, automatically, generating all the 1099 forms for you. It calculates and handles all paychecks to affiliates, too.

i believe it is going to be a great product. But what advice do you have for newbies that are onb tight budget considering the high price.

Yes it seems there are great options in RAP,but because I am now
going to buy my first sales platform I think due to price/quality ratio DLguard is my choise
this time. This does not mean I can't buy also RAP after Dlguard has paid itself..

HTML editor and edition is not problem for me..

I suppose when you Sam are adding some great plugins and other features when you are all the time developing your software,it will be great choise for me.

What about the upgrades are they free or paid for existing customers?

Hello again,

OK,I bought DLguard and it seems good so far,some minor problems I had with installation to my Bluehost (PHP 5.2) server with ionCube loaders.
It was needed to make some modifications in PHP.ini to get it working
and PHP.ini was needed to put every DLguard active folders to get program work correctly.

In my another Glowhost (PHP 4.4) based server automatic installation was 100% succesful without any problems.

I am a bit confused with some points when adding Paypal products to program. I am sure here are many experienced DLguard users who can answer these questions,so If you can help,it is highly appreciated .

1. What means Product logo URL
in GENERAL PRODUCT SETTINGS
is it some image that can be seen in some phase of the selling process?

2. URL of product file
if I put it outside of public_html folder in my server (upper non public area)
does download really works then?
Because there are not full URL inserted in configurations
but just only: /folder/product.zip
How does DLguard recognize that file/folder structure?

3. Re-post Paypal IPN
May I put here eg. my OTO complete URL (or what is the purpose of that?)

4. GetResponse Campaign Name
Does this work directly with Aweber? Or is it possible use Aweber here at all?

5. Extra text/HTML code to be added to download page
Does this mean there will be as default DLguard's part of the code + that additional part if I put there something?

Ps. I did test drive with Paypal sandbox,all gone OK,but in final stage when returned to DLguard download page,there was that error:

Download Error: No receipt number available

Is this normal when testing with Sandbox or should it give me real download link?

DLGuard is actually designed with Internet Marketers in mind - basically you install it onto ONE website, and you can administer ALL of your niche and mini sites from the one installation, one admin area.

I had one client report that he manages over a hundred sites with ONE DLGuard installation.

Managing everything from one DLGuard installation makes life MUCH easier, and more productive.

I think RAP offers more features

Actually it doesn't - just different features

RAP does have an affiliate program, and I didn't know about the tax thing, and probably has some other extras too.

DLGuard, on the other hand, offers things like a built in shopping cart system and allows you to create membership websites, and to also use a wide range of payment processing options.


So what it really comes down to (like anything), is just investigate all the solutions, make a note of what YOUR business requires, and then choose the one that best fits.


I know people that use both RAP and DLGuard.

It just depends on what you're after!

You'll get free upgrades (including major version upgrades) for a full year. After that year you can choose to renew cheaply, or if you're happy with what you've got you don't need to.

Keep in mind the upgrades are REAL upgrades - you get a lot of new functionality with these, and they come often!

I'm a big believer in continually growing a software product.

I use a mixture of scripts.

DL Guard is used with all my ClickBank products and my direct PayPal sales -- like WSOs, etc. I love DL Guard. Took me 2-3 minutes yesterday to set up my new WSO on it.

$7 Secrets script for all my low-priced products, like many of my Recipes and Toolkits, as this allows affiliates to sell for 100% commission. It's my favourite for getting beginners to be affiliates, as they can easily get the link and get money to their acct. Great in non-IM niches.

I'm chiming in about e-junkie. I disagree with the 'its crap' comment. It works seamlessly for me. I host my own files, set up the codes, and all done. quick and painless.
I've used oscommerce,zencart,joomla shopping carts. If you want simple and painless, with limited shopping cart functions. I recommend ejunkie.
If it integrated with some popular cart scripts it would be better, but again, simple and easy to use.
I plan on upgrading to a full blown store within a month and will outgrow the junkie, but its all good for now.

I like e-junkies as well, and for basic delivery and protection, you can't beat the price. With a coupon "craftboom", you can get three months for free if you want to try it out.

I've also purchased DLGuard in the past and while I haven't had a chance to actually use it, I do intend to (it looks great) and seems to have a lot of the bells & whistles that e-junkie lacks - Go Sam!

Sorry, but for affiliate sales e-junkie is "crap". One of my associates was using it, and I never could get my affiliate link. Imagine how many affiliates you lose. No thank you!

Now turning a bit out topic, I have been contacted to this very responsive program developer Ravi Jayagopal and he has recently launched his new membership script with a very nice features it is called Digital Access Pass
