What was your method of coming up with a USP for your business? Do you even have one? Today I'm thinking how important USP are to companies like FedEx, Dominos, etc. but I'm left wondering how they came up with the USP to start with and how they knew it was a good one. |

In my last case it was the overuse of backlink packages and the lack of protection against abuse that helped me create an application. In the case of Fedex it was reliability in speed and international delivery. two things that The postal service stunk at. | |

Sometimes you need outside help. I find when I am in the bubble of my own creation I can't step outside it easily enough. That's when I call on friends who own businesses and ask for advice. Sometimes they see things I never thought of. A good brainstorming session is all you need. Get some Lattes from starbucks (caffeine and sugar help the creative process) and talk it out. Good luck! |
