Clickbank eBook Sales Questions

Hello fellow warriors. I am new here, but not new to marketing. I have some questions to those that are familiar with creating and selling a product on Clickbank. I am writing an eBook on a very popular issue that will appeal to the masses. It is not focused on making money online, but rather an social issue that many people have interest in. I have a couple of questions to those that have sold their before:
1. From what I understand Clickbank processes the payments for all sales. Is that correct?
2. Are there sales limits for this? (like a merchant account volume limits)
3. Do they have you input the splits and pay the eBook author, themselves and the affiliate marketers?
4. How often are people paid?
5. Is $50 the only fee to sell your product with them?
6. On your minisite/landing page to sell the product, do they provide you code to point the purchase button to?
7. Do they handle digital downloads of the product to the consumer?
8. In terms of pricing, does anyone have suggestions for pricing? I would imagine that the combination of attracting marketers to sell it will require a high enough price, but selling low enough will get the consumers to buy it.

Also, what about paydotcom? Anyone use them? Better, worse or the same?
