Default My Personal Sources of Income On-line

Hi Warriors,

I've sent out an e-mail to my list two days ago and I got a lot of
positive feedback for it. So I thought it might be valuable to others
as well.

Here it goes:

There are three sources on-line that I manage to make money from.

The only reason why I could start making money online is that I
worked on my ability to focus and not to get distracted so much. I
still get distracted a lot, but I'm better now at focusing, at least
for a certain amount of time.

You MUST work on that skill if you seriously want to get moving and
if you want to make money fast. The BEST free source regarding that
subject that I found recently on-line is a website called zenhabits.net.

Here is the link: Zen Habits ? Simple Productivity

This website is all about getting things done and focusing on the
important stuff.

Now let's see how I make money on-line.

Source 1 - Creating Warrior Special Offers

Three months after learning about Internet Marketing I launched my
first WSO and it generated over $3,000 within 10 days. I can assure
you that I was shocked. I created a couple more since then and I can
make a great passive income just by bumping my threads up to the top
again, let alone the money that one can make through launching a new
WSO.

Let's be honest, all you basically need to run a WSO is a report in
the form of a .pdf, a sales letter and an automated payment process.
That's it. If you have ideas jumping around in your head and you want
to launch your own product, there is no easier and safer way than
launching it within the WSO section.

I really recommend creating WSO's. At least try it out and see for
yourself what's possible doing it.

Source 2 - Affiliate Marketing (Especially Niche- and Article Marketing)

Okay this is a tough one. It took me a long time to make this work
and I'm still not overly happy with the return on investment. In
retrospect, considering how much time I have spent doing keyword
research, writing articles, building backlinks and so forth....

...I can understand why so many people give up along the way. It just
takes so long so finally see some results and it takes a lot of work,
on an ongoing basis.

The biggest mistake that I've made was to get too much into
micro niche blogging, looking for long tail keywords in very small
niches that only get a couple of searches a day.

My best tip that I can give you is to go for the mega niches. Yes look
for sub niches, BUT within the mega niches in which people spend
milliones of dollars on a daily basis.

Niches like weight loss, dating, car insurance, online games, health
and so forth. I gave up looking for keywords like 'how to get rid of
yeast infection fast'. They just don't get enough searches and there
are too many info seekers in low traffic micro niches.

Source 3 - Offline Marketing

I started to get into off-line marketing 2 months ago and I'm going
to focus on that from now on.

I have 3 customers so far, one is paying me $1,500 a month and the
others are paying me less money in order to test me first.

All I needed to do was to send out some e-mails offering my services,
meet with two of them in person for a beer and shortly afterwards
I had the checks in my hand.

Now compare that to spending hours doing niche and keyword research
just to wait for a couple of weeks or month in order to get some
$17 sales coming in.

And the best part is that I don't do any hard work. I completely
outsource the SEO part to Warriors who are offering SEO packages.
I give them the details about my client's site and from there on they
do all the hard work and I can watch the site climb up the rankings,
while the page rank increases as well.

Like I said, from now on I'm going to focus on offline marketing. You
don't need to be an SEO expert to do that. I remember when I talked
to my first client, they had no clue what page rank, social bookmarking
or anchor text backlinks mean. These are basics, and they are enough
to sell your service to local small companies.

These are the three sources that work for me so far. I hope you found
some inspiration in this e-mail and I would be happy to see you starting
out within one of these areas.

They do work for me and I'm not even doing this IM thing for a full
year yet.

They can also work for you.

Have a great day,

Mario Brown

Thanks for this post. So far most of my efforts have been in #2 - Affiliate marketing. But the lack of results have been frustrating for me too, which is why I'm now concentrating my efforts on offering services. At least it's guaranteed income.

I personally can't wait until I launch my own product WSO. I see the kind of responses some WSOs get and it's just mindblowing. $3000 in 10 days seems totally do-able, even if only charge $10 or $15. However, even though I have accumulated a LOT of knowledge, I don't quite feel ready to release any WSOs just yet. Baby steps...

That Zen Habits website is pretty awesome too -- thanks for sharing.

Hi Mario,

Great Post. What I get from what you are saying is that creating income in IM does not have to be overly complicated. Although, some of us like myself can at time make it so.

I happen to be on your list and finding much value in it.

I do have a question for you, would it be possible to pm you?

Thanks,

Z

Hi MurphSmurf,

thanks for your reply. Just to let you know how powerful WSO's can be, I launched the WSO that I was talking about for $7

Good luck and stay motivated!

Cheers,
Mario

It's always helpful to hear how other people are finding the IM business going. I agree with you on the whole focus thing. I was jumping around from one thing to another but have finally found two things that I'm combining and am starting to have some results. And I continue to focus on these ventures ONLY. One of the things I have done is make a commitment to myself not to buy any more WSOs until I get this other thing up and running and working for me. That's hard to do but so far I'm hanging in there with that decision.

Let us know how your offline business develops. I looked at that but it just wasn't for me. I don't particularly like the techie stuff of the Internet.

Hi Maggie,

thanks for responding.

One thing that made a huge for me was to only buy WSO services or products that can directly help my business or the project I am working on.

I remember when I started out, I was buying report after report, reading everything, thinking to myself: 'wow what a great idea' ...

..and doing nothing.

Again, now I only buy either services like backlink building, writing articles and so forth or I buy WSO's that are directly related to a project that I'm working on.

Cheers,
Mario

Great post. Could you elaborate on the WSO please? What would I even write one about?
And how do I know that it's worth money to other marketers?

Thanks

Hi Steven,

try to write about something that's hot and that people are interested in within the IM niche. The easiest way to get topics is to look for popular threads right here in the main forum.

Look what people are asking, what they want to know and so forth. Look what's hot.

Here are some topics you could think about:

Twitter, Facebook, Building Backlinks, Offline Marketing, New FTC rules, Social Bookmarking, Article Marketing, Blogging, SEO, Keyword Research ...just to name a few.

Currently it's also very popular to offer services. If you don't have a lot of experience within the IM niche, go ahead and offer some services like creating profiles on Forums, blog commenting, article submissions and so forth.

I hope I could give you some ideas. Let me know if you have some further questions.

Awesome! Make sure that you act fast!

It's all about speed of implementation.

The difference betweent the successful people and the ones that will only talk is speed of implementation.

You have new idea, go take action and implement it right away.

It didn't work. Great. You haven't lost a lot of time and now you can move on to the next. The more ideas you try and more importantly the faster you fail, the quicker you will find gold out there.

It's a numbers game.

Talk is cheap. Everybody has ideas. Just walk into the bar next door... everybody has great ideas. Just look around here, so many people with great ideas in their head ....but they never implement it or try it out.

Take the motivation that you got right now, try to run a WSO or offer a SEO service to a your local dentist and see what happens.

You will sooner or later make money.

I can promise you that!

And once you do, just do the same again ..

Cheers,
Mario

Mario,
You give out great advice and also terrific products. Just started to implement your formula for WSO, although I have no product as of yet. No product is no problem because with your help I know it will be a snap.

Keep up the great content.
