How To Sell Websites?

Okay, to make a long story short I need a fairly large amount of money pretty quickly. If I told you everything that had happened to me in the last month you'd never believe it.

I have three, maybe four websites w/domains I'd like to sell. But I literally have no money to pay a fee to list them. So where is the best place to get them sold without having to put out any initial money? No one seems to be buying on Ebay so I had ruled it out.

Any suggestions? :confused:

    List it on Sedo.com - it's free. Go to domain forums like NamePros.com and list your domains there. Google your keywords (exact words in your domain) and contact those who are advertising using those keywords.

    I agree, try Digital point, however those are bargain hunter buyers, they want the world for nothing. Also, if you dont have an account there and no itraders it maybe hard to sell because buyers dont trust many sellers as that forum is known for scammers. (Although I have never come across one at DP, and I sells sites regularly over there)

    If you can provide good screen shots of income your sites make then maybe someone will buy. If you have adsense sites they will sell for a good price if they make at least $1.00 a day.

    Personally if these are good sites I would spend the $20.00 and list it at flippa.com, you will get paid more from buyers there.

    I've sold sites on DP, before, but fairly cheaply. You're welcome to place sites-for-sale on my website market site, if you want: MySiteMart: Website Market Just register and default is contributor. I've been doing other things (eg doing IM for retail business, which BTW may be a way for you to make fast $$$) and haven't really tended to this site much. Traffic is not massive, but I have sold sites there, do it does happen.

    I sell and buy sites there regularly and havent really had any problems. Just be wary of who you deal with. I have a rule that I won't deal with anyone with less than 10 itrader rating - 20 would be better.

    They've recently upgraded the marketplace forum a bit to handle a basic auction format.

    Aight you have got three ways.

    1. SEDO.com --> Good marketplace with a rich clientele.
    2. DP.com ---> Receives good number of buyers but all are kiddes/scammers
    3. Get someone to sell it for ya. Offer them like 10% of the sale. better than nothing.

      One thing, if the websites are established, you'll probably be able to get the best price for them at Flippa. As you're probably aware, there's a $19 fee to list a website, though.

      $19 isn't too tough to get - borrow it from a friend, or heck, go give plasma. Then get your site listed.
