Hey Warriors, I trying to figure out why Youtube videos play on my mobile phone but when I try to play my own flash videos hosted on my website it prompts me to download the flash plugin? Anyone know why? Thanks, |

It is because most phones do not support flv files. I recommend converting your flash videos to either 3gp or mp4 video files for viewing.

if your trying to market your site on phones then the best thing to do is put your vids on youtube, then when people visit your site on their phones they will be able to view and play your videos... hope this helps ;-) |

The only problem with that Joey is that not all smartphones are able to view youtube videos. For example on my blackberry curve youtube was not viewable, unless I downloaded a converted version from one of my sites videovideo.mobi, but with the iphone works perfect.
