Top Places to Submit Your Ebooks

I recently posted a case study here at the Warrior Forum on how I used ebook directories to generate an extra 700 visitors and 100 subscribers.
I did this using 2 very popular ebook directories. So I thought I would publish a more complete list of places where you can submit your ebooks.

Now, keep in mind that this is not a comprehensive list. Instead, it's a list of the very best ebook directories (i.e. the one's that will bring you the best results.)

*** http://www.changethis.com/ - ChangeThis.com is much more than just a traditional ebook directory. They publish manifestos. The original idea behind ChangeThis came from Seth Godin. This site can bring your content LOTS of extra exposure, but it must be extra good.

Does anyone know where I can get software/program that allows a pdf ebook to be formated and read like a book, ie with pages that turn left and right, instead of the normal pdf scroll down?
I know this exists but don't know what its called to be able to locate the right info.
What is a pdf reader? is that the name of what I'm looking for?

The reason I'm asking is because I'm selling to an older market less familiar with computers, who have often never seen a pdf before, and a book format would be a good bridge for them.

This thread is an oldie (2009) but a goodie.

I used this very strategy to build one of my lists from zero to over 300. It might not sound like a lot, but they're all targeted subscribers and buyers.

I had best results with scribd, docstock and slideshare.

You don't need all of them, just few of them for best results.

I uploaded about 10 of my ebooks to Ebooked.org at the beginning of the year. Than you post your content lock code, so when someone wants your ebook for free they have to complete an email or zip submit or something to that effect. It has brought me between $100-$150 in passive income every month since then.

If you are looking to give away or sell ebooks, many people like to post their ad for free on my " FREE-FOR-ALL " ad blog. This blog has RSS and widgets supporting it all over the net.

No fees to post ads for free ebooks or for paid products.

RULES:
No Porn or Adult Sites
No Dating Sites
No File Sharing Sites
No Illegal Anything

Other than that, it's all good.

Great business model for extra income is when you submit ebooks to Amazon Kindle. It's a new thing not many people know about, you can set a price for your ebook from .99 cents to $200. You'll be getting 70% royalties from Amazon for every sale. You do not handle refunds, customer support, etc.

You can search for flipviewer xpress, flippdf, uniflip, epaperflip, flipbook, etc.. loads of them out there just search for "pdf flip"
