First iPhone virus?

A Sydney man is claiming to have written the first iPhone virus:

Australian admits creating first iPhone virus - ABC News (Australian Broadcasting Corporation)

Granted, it only works on "Jailbroken" phones, but it sounds like there may be a lot of those out there!

Timely reminder to set good passwords on your devices, websites, etc.

I certainly don't want Rick Astley stalking me....

It is only jailbroken iphones that have SSH enabled and use the default password.

Change your password and you should be safe again. For now.

Pretty funny but he is pretty naive...openly admitting to doing it and then even saying his alias is in the source code. He might not have done any damage but he has just shown the light to some more destructive kids

Yeah: signing the code? Telling the newspaper it was you, and that you can prove it?

That sounds like something the attorney for the prosecution would be interested in.
