Default If you've had a problem with Clickbank...

I know there're a lot of threads about this but I'm curious as to specifics. After about how many days/weeks or consistent sales do most people experience the "sudden drop" in zeros? My account was really doing great (for a beginner) and for 2-3 weeks I was getting sales most every day and made almost $400 in those couple weeks on one campaign. Then some of my articles fell off google and I haven't had a sale in almost 2 weeks now.

Before, I was averaging 40ish hops per sale consistently... In the past two weeks I've sent over 200 hops with not a single sale... Could I be seeing the clickbank woes I hear about? I want to know if it might be time to make a new account and change all my links : /

That's kind of a small number. Too small to say from just 200 hops. If it gets to 2000, you know you've got a problem.

The only way to tell if it's happening is to switch out the links for a couple days and see if any sales come in.

I think I'll wait till I'm getting a consistent 100 uniques per day and if after a week or so I've got nothing I'll swap.

When you say "consistently", Branlan, how many clicks in total are you referring to? (Obviously products vary a lot, but in abstract/on average 40 hops per sale sounds pretty good!).

It really is too small a number to know, in my opinion.

It's one of these really awkward situations. If you create a new account and it doesn't make any difference, then Clickbank-apologists who enjoy ridiculing people can post and say that there's no evidence at all that this works anyway, and it has no logic at all. On the other hand, if you do nothing and it continues for another 400 hops without a sale, and then you create a new account and immediately start making a sale for every 40 hops again, it means you've wasted a lot of time and lost some money. Difficult situation. I must say, for myself, I probably wouldn't give it as long as another week of 100 uniques per day.

This is an very old and known problem with clickbank, and occasionally i still experience this. Like 4 days in a row without sales.

On a side-note...i shifted my focus to article marketing and it goes VERY well with clickbank. If i see a few days without a sale...its usually i get a sales spike thereafter, so maybe its a delay in their system. Overall, sales consistent.

Since I have a high schooler's schedule... I can't write 10 article per day... what I prefer to do right now is to pick 20-40 of my highest CT articles and use backlinking to rank them for as many keywords as possible. Constantly submitting articles is good and does result in sales spikes but with EZA's new policies I'd rather take my strongest articles and invest time in solidifying their position, submitting so many similar articles runs the risk of having your EZA account banned... and as an article marketer that leaves you SoL if the EZA's are the ones you have ranking on google : /
