Can 2 identical products be listed on Clickbank?

Hey Guys and Girls,

I have been struggling for the past few days to get an answer from Clickbank and wondering if anyone could help.
Is it possible to have 2 identical products listed with identical names but different vendors?
I listed a product in August now someone has listed the same product with the exact same name. I didn't think this was possible.

To make matters worse after checking my site, the payment link has been removed as well as footer links-privacy, disclaimer and contact...wtf?

It is possible - I've seen it with my own 2 eyes.

There were two identical PLR products in the fly fishing niche. Same sales page, same ebook name, same ebook graphics.

The ClickBank Marketplace titles/descriptions were different though.

I am not sure if they are both still listed there or not.

Do a search for Ewen Chia's Autopilot Profits.... wow... there's heaps of them on Clickbank!

Wow I have never ran into that problem before but I must say that is rather annoying that Clickbank would allow such a thing to happen.

Have you tried contacting the person who listed the identical title as yours? Maybe you all could work something out?

Many "Vendors" can all list the same product on CB

CB's quite liberal about this issue. You launch a product and within a week you have 5 new dups.... That's Clickbank..

Is this a product you created or one you bought with PLR? If it's PLR then there is nothing much you can do if the terms allows anyone to claim authorship.

I've seen this happen before as well with multiple folks posting PLR product on ClickBank as is. Not sure what ClickBank could do but no longer allow PLR products posted.

That's why I always have my own graphics created when I use PLR. I also do a light re-writing and re-purposing of it.

If it's your own product that you created and someone stole it from you and is now listed an exact copy on ClickBank I would send a cease and desist letter and talk to an attorney. Look at the WHOIS info for their contact information if it's not on their website.

No this is not an original product I have bought the rights to the software so I understand that there could be duplicates, but to allow 2 products with the same marketplace title seems crazy.

They allow the same product alright. In fact that's how I got started with being a Vendor. The site I bought had at least 4 vendors in clickbank with the same exact website and products. Luckily because of the Rights they all sold it for the same price. I had a few affiliates probably because I had the better bonuses that I added.

Correct! if you add a few related bonuses then the affiliates will choose your listing, because it will have a better chance of selling
