Slap Google Back Gives me 5/10 on quality WTH? PPC question

Made my first site specifically for PPC, I followed the 'slap Google back' method touted to give you a 10/10 quality score... Well I did everything as directed to the letter and I have a 5/10....

Why? Could it be because of crappy campaign performance in the past?

Should I start another account from scratch?

My ctr was pretty bad but I have been studying PPC classroom and am ready to give it another go. Am I wrong in thinking they must be holding my past performance against me, even with a new campaign?

If I start a new account with the account manager can I escape this penalty?

One thing I have learned about AdWords is that they aren't very forgiving. My card was declined because I was an account in review. Never did any ads, or anything, and I contacted them about this. Apparently there is something they didn't like, and so im suspended from their program.

There are other advertising networks so loss for google.

Have you seen a majority of positive reviews on this method. I have never heard of it, but you never know. They could be full of cr*p.

Honestly, I got ahold of this before he started charging for it.. Don't blame him. Anyway its a VERY short read and extremely easy to follow. However, unless I am being penalized for a poor CTR in the past it flat out does not work.....

Either that or the changes to my sites have not been crawled yet I suppose that is a possibility. I am somewhat positive adwords sends the crawlers at the time of the campaign creation. I have 2 sites optimized with the methods today and both are 5/10 and 7/10 respectively.

For some reason Google says my adds are eligible but they are NOT turning up when I search for them. It has been 6 hours I have never had it take more than 3... Not sure what is going on I'll wait and see what happens.

Sorry, don't mean to pass blame. Im still use to useless products from around this gracious little internet.

But yeah, time is always a good indicator. It might just not work. But I can't say for sure as I haven't tested it.

I hear ya...

I can say with complete certainty unless I am being penalized it does not work. It is literally 11 simple to follow steps.
