When people erase cookies from their computer or use spyware, doesn't that mean they erase all sign of you or in other words you don't get paid for their purchase? Or are your cookies on the other end. Not even sure how to word my question...someone please read my mind. Reason I am asking is my husband always erases his cookies. |

For the standard way of doing affiliate tracking, yes. If an affiliate system uses cookies to track sales, and then cookies are erased off a system, and then that person makes a purchase, you will not get credit for the sale.

All this talk about cookies is making me thirsty for a glass of milk... There are other forms of tracking but, "bad surfer no cookie" if you earse your cookies then if tracking is by cookies then no current tracking unless the deed was already done and they logged the surfers activity.
