Maximum exposure (question)

I appreciate that maximum exposure, multiple income streams etc are one way to maximise profits, but what/how do

Wordpress
Squidoo
Blogs
Hub

differ from one another; is there one that is better than the rest, or can they not be compared directly in that way?

Ian.

    Ian,

Maximum exposure means getting your name, url, products, etc in as many places as possible.

The Web 2.0 sites you mentioned are a way to acheive that.

Part of the process known as 'back linking' or 'deep linking' is to use these sites' High PR backlink to your own site for better SEO.

Multiple streams of income, comes into play when you sell a book and within that book have affiliate links placed which are complimentary products to the subject matter contained within your book.

For instance, if your book is about weddings, a complementary affiliate book that you would reccommend in your book would be something like "How To Choose The Perfect Photographer For Your Wedding".

There's a lot more to the answer to your question, but I hope this gives you the jist of it.

Many thanks guys, you've also saved me asking the "what defines a Web 2.0 site"

Yes, my poor choice of wording; I was just using a figure of speech when I said max exposure.

So... is it the done thing to have identical content on each W2.0 site? and link back to mydomain.com (which will either be my main, or squeeze page - advice welcome!), or do people play it in different ways depending on niche, etc?

    Hello Ian,

I'd create unique rather than identical content for different web 2.0 sites, it's not hard to do, then each webpage on sites like squidoo and hubpages etc. can get indexed with unique content by google/yahoo/msn with a one way back link to your site. Gives you both traffic from your squidoo lens or hub on hubpages and the backlink juice in ranking in the search engine result pages.
