Default A Great Marketing Story ..

I think this article is really inspirational on how just one small change
in your marketing could make such a big difference even in a tough
economy.

Default Re: A Great Marketing Story ..

Ray, a nice story and a smart move by SubWay. I LOVE eating at SubWay, makes me feel like I'm "eating healthy" and therefore feel great about my food choices -- and their $5 footlongs are exactly what I purchase. I eat half now, save half for later. It's like getting two meals for the price of one (for me).

This article mentions how the $5 price point has taken on enough signifigance to convince other Fast Food restaurants to create $5 sandwiches, etc. too, and I think this is smart as well.

Never could figure out the $7 craze that went through for a while. I remember wondering "Why not $5?" It just seemed to make more sense.

Here's my logic on this: $7 is almost ALL of a $10 bill, but $5 is only HALF. You can spend $5 and still have that other $5 if you need it later.

Anyway, thanks for sharing.

Tina
