My psychic powers tell me that your web server is not configured to display your blog's main page as the default document.

How did you install the blog? Via fantastico? If so, did you make sure that the sub-directory didn't exist before setting up? If you installed manually, are you sure you installed in the correct place - usually in public_html? Are you sure you have used the correct nameservers in your dns set-up at your registrar? What do you see if you just type in your domain name? If you see something along the lines of "index of" then the nameservers are probably correct. If that also gives an error, then the problem is possibly with the DNS settings. |

Along with everything that's already been suggested... make sure your blog is installed in the right place. Using it your way myself, it is located like this on my server: public_html >mysite.com >>blog That's because I have more than 1 site in my public folder and the blog is only one one site. If I didn't it would just be: public_html >blog Also, you might want to talk to your service provider. When I installed on my own using CPanel and Fantastico, it didn't work and I had to ask them to help me. They juggled something and it worked. I think they had to change permissions on the blog folder. Hope this helps. Sylvia |
