Offering free ebooks in exchange for feedback no longer allowed?

Hey all,

I just put up a post offering a free ebook in return for feedback and testimonials. However, the post just disappeared. It seems to have gotten deleted by the mods, but I'm not sure.

I've seen other recent posts here on the Main Forum similar to what I put up so I didn't think it'd be a problem.

Does anyone know if doing such is no longer allowed here on the main forum?

Anyway, if my post broke one of the rules, then my sincere apologies.

    Yours seemed like something that was to promote your list and gain more subscribers.

    (Nothing wrong with that but this section is not meant for that)

    If you have a free ebook try putting it in the forum section set aside for free ebooks. Or better yet try making a WSO or warrior classified.

    if you want some reviewers for a product, ask for reviews and ask people to PM you. Do not post the product here or a link to the optin page.

    I think this is okay but could be wrong? Someone correct me if its wrong!
