How can I export people who did not confirm double opt in, into constant contact etc.?

I run a brick and mortar business.. and even with batch imports of emails.. i bet 65% do not opt in.... yet the actual conversion from people who sign up directly on my website is waaay better.. same email, offer etc..

So i do'nt want to lose these leads.. can i export these into another email service, ie. constant contact, with no double opt in.. so even if i don't get the best deliverability, i'm still making use of these leads?

thanks!

      thanks for reply..

      to clarify...

i have a brick and mortar business and trying to build an email list of my clients.

      i am using aweber

but i collect alot of emails in my store (not online)... and when i "bulk import" them into aweber... like 65% of them do not confirm the opt in and i lose these leads

i am curious if a better way to do this.. for example... can i export that 65% that did not confirm their opt in, into an email provider, ie. constant contact, that does not require double opt in?

Use a service that doesn't require double opt-in... That would be my advice.

^yeah.. but trying to maximize deliverability... so aweber is great... constantcontact i've heard is not so great... plus if its a huge list, isn't there issues if we get reported as spam then it harms us even more??

so trying to get best of both worlds.

    I use Aweber and 1ShoppingCart.com

    Single and Double.

There are advantages and disadvantages to both.

The main setback from Double Opt in is the problem you
are having. And there is nothing you can do about that. Many
will not confirm and they are lost leads.

With double opt in you will have a higher quality list and much
higher open rates. But I test both services by sending the same
    email to yahoo.

Both of them get to the inbox folder and not the spam folder.

But I just like the quality of double opt in list.

We've been working around the clock on increasing confirmation rates.

We added a step by step confirm video after opt in and tell
them exactly what to do in order to confirm.

    That's been working pretty well.
