Default If you've had trouble with Clickbank...

I was wondering about this when I've been seeing so many threads regarding the subject... Have any of you having this problem simply left your links on the account having "problems"? I was wondering if when sales suddenly drop that account ceases to make sales at all or if after a while it seems to normalize again?

I'm asking because I've personally seen quite a slump lately : /

I reported one vendor that appeared to have the hop no longer go to their homepage. I went to a white page with a site description and a single blind link back to their homepage. I was looking into becoming their affiliate so I have no idea if they're pimping their affiliates currently but didn't want to find out. CB security said they where looking into it. I've heard of others not selling the product on the front end and using their list to push the sales through paypal and not paying the commission on the product. Some sites move a lot of cash and want the traffic we bring but don't want to pay for it.

I'm skeptical of sites that ask for emails up front

I hate CB vendors that pimp thier newsletter subsciption on above the fold or as a pop up.

Clickank should not allow this type of activity and if they do the vendor should have to prove that thier system for gathering emails should pass on the credit to the referer if the sale is made through the referrer like say in 30 days.

Yeah yeah I can hear the grumbling of vendors now that it would be very difficult to do. Well if that being the case and they can't make it work then they would not be included in CB system.

I will not promote a vendor that has a popup/above the fold email subscription list for free lessons or info on the product. I just see it as a way to scalp a few sales or rape a referrer from the referral. It really is a slimy method of stealing sales ...
