Do you know of any shopping carts that can automatically split sales 50/50 and pay out to two people? Or is there a way to get the popular cart providers (google, clickbank, paypal, paydotcom, etc. etc.) to be configured to do this? Is there a way To do this, AND also allow for affiliates? I'd like to have sales from my product automatically split and pay out to myself and my business partner without having to deal with payroll, etc., while still allowing affiliates to sign up and promote. Make sense? I know there has to be a way to do this. It's electronic, anything is possible... |

Ah hah, I saw that. I was hoping for an alertnate/existing solution. When does that new iteration of paypal come out, though? Thanks, Josh. |

You mentioned ClickBank. If you put in a 50% commission rate, they would split the remaining amount after they take your fees between you and your affiliate, wouldn't they? After all, that is the way they work.

RAP may be your best choice right now for a script that support affiliates now and will later support the new API features. DLGuard doesn't yet support affiliates, but Sam said he'll probably be supporting the new API. Josh's NanaCast also supports affiliates, but he hasn't said whether he'll be supporting the new API or not. However, it's a good bet that many folks who support PayPal payments will eventually support this as an option, but not all. It all depends, however, on whether it fits well with their overall business structure. Clickbank, IMO (and others) is NOT very likely to support it -- it just doesn't fit their business model. -David | |

RAP does ths in a way but if you do not care about all the JV and affiliate stuff my simple solution would be this Assuming the product is always the same price alther the payments every other payment so payment 1 goes to person A and payment 2 goes to B. Have a very small script that calls the databsae were is stored which person had the last payment and depending on that redirect to the other persons payment method. If the price is not the same you will need have the script do some calculations to make it switch payments when the amounts add up almost the same to keep things even Edwin |

I think people are getting confused (or maybe I am). From how I understand you, there is nothing that does what you want, nor is there anything in the works. What you are asking is that you and your partner are the product creators but want paid separately into your individual accounts. Plus you also want the ability to recruit affiliates and organise their payment, again separately from the already split double vendor payments? There's nothing that does that. In a few days I'll be releasing something close, a new instant split commission affilate network that doesn't charge any sales fees. PaySpree.com |
