Strong Call to Action Examples?

I've been doing some bum marketing and I have the feeling that my "calls to action" aren't up to par. Can anyone point me in the right direction by showing me some examples? Links are fine - I know the concept and the basic idea on how to write a call to action, but don't have "the eye" to know a strong one from a weak one. Thanks in advance!

If you want to use them on regular pages you could use nice images (arrows and stuff). They do good job.

But if you want them only for text ads (adwords like), the ones above are very good.

I try to be subtle in my call to action phrases. You don't want to come across as trying to sell something.

    Examples:
    "Lose 15 pounds"
    "Learn how"
    "How to"
    "Check out"
    "Free"
    "Solve"
    "Visit"

Those are all words that can come after or before other words to complete the call to action. I usually make the whole call to action a link.

Don't use "buy now" types of call to actions. Don't hint at buying anything at all. Offer something for free if you can.
