Alarmed about article publishing situation!

Yesterday I published a new article on my site. I always publish on my site first and wait until it's indexed before submitting to directories. I do this to make sure I get recognized for original content.

However, I will bookmark the page in Digg and similar sites to speed up indexing.

The new page on my site has just shown up in Google, noted "2 hours ago".

But then I see it listed under articlesnatch.com "8 hours ago"! I never submitted to articlesnatch. And I sure as hell don't want it there before it's indexed on my site!

What gives here? Do they have the right to publish my article without permission or is this a rip-off?

Thanks for any clarifications on what's going on here.

UPDATE: I may have jumped the gun. I located my article on articlesnatch.com and I've discovered it's only the title linked to the article on my site. One of the bookmarking sites must contribute to articlesnatch. Nothing I should complain about here. But the way Google had it posted it looked like my article was published on their site.

Sounds like articlesnatch snatched your work. I would tell them to take it down.

UPDATE: I think I jumped the gun. I located the article on articlesnatch and discovered it's only the title linked to my site page. Nothing to complain about here!

I guess articlesnatch is linked to one of the bookmarking sites. The way Google posted it it looked like the article was actually published on their site.

No need for anyone to reply to this.
