I see frequent complaints about Ezine Articles in this forum. Now for the good news. I have posted only one article, it was approved quickly, and I've been made an expert author and can say so on my web site. I'm a bit chuffed.

You know out of all the bad things I've seen about Ezine Articles, it's good to see something positive! Now, they might not be totally fair to evveeryy single article or to everybody, but all in all its a darn good article directory. Glad for you!

Ezine Articles has been good to me as well, and as long as I follow their guidelines everything will be OK.

But great, yeah I have only had good experiences with them. Definitely good for traffic.

I'm a huge fan of Ezine Articles as well. Always been good to me - and I do tend to post my best stuff there. It matters in the long run.

I personally use them and many others. I am not happy with there BS lately but, they got hurt really badly with some black hat stuff and the spinners have cracked them in the butt!!!!!

I agree.. I've read a lot of bad stuff about EZA but I have (in my few article postings) had a good experience.

Although i am surprised because i have *some* writers which create very "odd" articles where its obvious that a non native speaker wrote them - and they also get approved

I think determining factor is actually the current mood of the editor at EZA at a given moment, some are stricter and some are not.

Yes, and i hear bad things about clickbank, or adwords, or google. Strangely enough, i make good money with clickbank and EZA...so dont let such stories put you off!

You can, and will, have wildy varying experiences there depending on the editor and their experience/discretion.

Great.. have you thought about creating your own niche site.. posting your articles on your own blog and building the content so that with time you too become an authority website in your niche?

I'm disappointed about their new three word rule for anchor text. That and the elusive platinum status that always seems to be 10 more submissions away...

But other than that, I've had a good experience with them. Plus it is a GREAT site to research. You can really find out what people are looking for and what other people are selling to them.

I reached Platinum a number of weeks ago and I got my mug in the mail today. I have never had any problems with ezinearticles.

Its great to hear good news. For a little while there I was getting frustrated with ezine as every article I submitted was being decline. It wasn't till I changed the format and all was good again.

So I think when problems arise we need to ask "what am I doing wrong?" and not " what are they doing wrong."

Keep up with the articles. They do bring good traffic.

I got my platinum status 5 days after I started. I have many articles under various pen names, and have only ever had 1 declined. Not all my articles rank highly, or get much traffic, but that is more because of my writing skill than their system.

Follow their guidelines and you wont have a problems.

Ezine articles does a good job, had a few of my articles flagged in the last month but that is just because of the new TOS they just released. Now I am in the process of changing all of those links which is a little bit of a pain lol. But no complaints here good traffic thats free.

I have been reading about the problems with EZA and was a bit puzzled. I have posted over 700 articles, and never a problem! Anyway, congratulations

Once I read through the guidelines and understood what I could and couldn't do it has been a good experience using Ezine.
