so i read somewhere that you want to vary your anchor text.
Example: i want my 3rd webpage to rank for the keyword "Ron Paul" so i was planning a backlinking campaign where my anchor text was "Ron Paul" on all links back to that page.... is this the right thing to do? P.S. how do i know where my H1 tags are if i dont use HTML code to build my website? (i use WYSIWYG) |

Hi Matrix,
You should vary your anchor text to not look too spammy to the SE's (if the links were natural, you can bet that not everyone would use the same anchor text back to your website). Just be sure to have most of them as your desired "Ron Paul" text. If you use a WYSIWYG editor, you should have the option to view the source code and then you can press CTRL+F (or Apple Command + F) to bring up the FIND tool. You can type <h1> in here and press go to find your header, if any. Alex |
