I love affiliate marketing but i don't know where to start. please fellow forumites, how can i get this done. I look forward to start promoting products with my site but i don't know how to do it.

For a simple quick start:

Sign up as an affiliate to:

clickbank.com
paydotcom.com
paygear.com

Then go into the marketplace and search for the products you would like to promote.
Some people search by popularity or high gravity.

Then click the link to create your affiliate link/hoplink

and promote those links

Thanks dave, i will i go with the promotion. writing an article for the promotion can simply worth it but i don't have a landing page to get my viewers information. Beside EZA will not allow me to post aff. links

You should be able to redirect a domain name to an affiliate link from your hosting account and you can download free ebooks on landing pages from here:

What kind of site do you have and do you have some sort of plan on what it is you want to promote, I use to think "just promote anything" but If you lose interest in what you are doing you will never get anything done, Heck, I been procrastinating for years.

The war room is a great place to be, but i think instead of first just signing up here and there to promote whatever, Just try to come up with something you enjoy doing see if there is a product for it, and then Go for it, capture some email addresses,write some interesting keyworded articles,(don't go over the rails on that though)

Rosalind Garner has a great book for affiliates, Secret affiliate Handbook. If anything
you ought to start there.

Unfortunately this is not enough information to give you a properly detailed answer.

What are you selling or planning to sell? What type of site did you create? Did you research your niche and find there is a proper demand for it? Do you know your target audience?

If you need specific information, you can use the search button on the forum. There are tons of ways to market things, but your specifics will determine how you will do it.

You can do with free blog for a start. Blogger or wordpress. Just do not make things complicated for yourself when started out. If not, you will just keep procrastinating and not get things done on time.

Not meaning to be harsh, but have you used the search function of this forum? There is so much information in this place it is simply ridiculous. If you just take out some time and put in your search function terms like "how do I make money" and just keep searching the pages, you will find numerous threads where people have asked the same questions and answers have been posted.

I think the first thing I had to learn was that I was going to have to search out some things for myself and get the answers. This forum is full of free information. Get some coffee, shut off your TV, and use that search function and start downloading all that free info, read it, and if you have questions, then post.

I'm speaking just about me now, but when I have to sleuth something out and then I do detailed research, I retain that information better. I'm sure you will get a list of people that will jump in and help...like we always do, but there are more and more people asking basically the same question.

Maybe we need a section called: Start Here First
