Why does it matter should be your question. You are releasing a fitness Ebook. So make it a STRONG name. This Sean Stewart is the ONLY strong name you have.... GOOD LUCK!

Have you checked who else already has the names? That may or may not make a difference... I also like Sean Stewart, by the way. Or how about Sean Sanders? |

That might even work well.... Sean Sanders is also strong. Try it and you are in a good niche. Just lots of views and not that many conversions.... Hope you beat the percentages with yours!

What's in a name? Does that affects your success? If the name is not been used already, I do not see any problem in using any. Rapheal. |

Fit Finley, Max Manly... oh wait that is not what you asked for. In the absence of more creative names I cast my vote for Sean Stewart. Good luck with your product launch! |

I agree with Matt. Your names are fine, but when choosing pen names, I try to convey (at some level) the idea of the niche. A name with 'max' in it implies 'maximum'. Armstrong could work, too. Strength, building, muscles, fit, fitness, health, results, ripped, iron, any words relating to those are what I would go with. Sean Armstrong Sean Maxus Sean Steelman That kind of thing, and first name could be changed, too. All the best, Michael |

From the original list, I like Sean Sanderson. The suggestion of Sean Sanders was good too, as well as some of the other "strong" names. Sean Stewart doesn't work for me either. The first thing that comes to mind is Stuart Smalley. It also sounds too much like John Stewart. Neither one of those suggests strength. |

I like Sean Sanderson and Sean Stewart myself. I don't think it really matters too much as long as you concentrate on writing good content. I know one school of thought talks about using memorable and distinctive names, so you might give that a try. At the end of the day I doubt that it's really going to make a dramatic difference.

Glad you picked Sean Stewart! The initials S. S.' makea strong statement/impression. If I had posted before you had picked I would have suggested you pick the name that makes you feel the most powerful when you say it!

I prefer Armstrong or perhaps even Steele. How about a double-barrel name such Stewart-Armstrong?

I have been told that names with a "Ch" or "Jh" sound are generally considered stronger than other names. Chuck Norris, Chuck Conners. So out of the bunch presented, I might consider Chuck Balton.

I'm not gonna pick any but ask a question about putting a face to a pen name while the topic is here. How do I do that?
