Hi Guys,

Can someone explain to me what PLR content is? I've read about it, but it makes no sense to me...can someone also point me in the direction of some PLR content so I can see what it is?

Thanks.

PLR - PLR is an abbreviation for Private Label Rights. PLR are the rights assigned to a set of articles or website where you have the legal right to modify the content of the articles and claim the content as your own. Most people resell the articles or use them "as is" on their own website. You can do just about anything you'd like with PLR articles.

You can find a list of over 100 plr sites in this thread.

You will find there are PLR membership sites where you pay a set amount each month to access the materials and also PLR "stores" that allow you to buy individual PLR products with no monthly fees.

        Good luck!

Private Label Rights can be anything from articles, ebooks, software, graphics, audio, video and even templates. Basically when something comes with Private Label Rights it means you can resell it and keep 100 percent of the profits for yourself. It also means(usually) you can claim that you are the author of the ebooks or videos or whatever the PLR product may be. It also comes with the source files which you can edit. For example if it is an ebook which will probably be a PDF document it will come with a microsoft or open office document which is the source file of the ebook. You can edit it and put your links in it and reprint it as a pdf. With Master Resale Rights you cannot edit the product or put your links in it.

I have a PLR video course below in my sig and a PLR audio interviews product.

          Private Label Rights.

          1. Some PLR products are not infact PLR at all. Be really careful of these.
Always, Always read the licence that comes with any PLR product.

          2. Some PLR products say that you can edit, rename and do whatever with them. Be really careful of these - a lot of them are in fact A pure and absolute waste of money, because unless you have the same programs they used to produce them you can't do a darn thing to alter them. This happens a lot with software and videos.

          3. Some PLR products _ well, you pays your money and takes your chance.

          4. The best thing to do with any PLR is to read it, use it, and then monetize it in any way you can. But then again, as in point 1.

          1. Some PLR products are not infact PLR at all. Be really careful of these.

You can also buy PLR videos, audios and ebooks and many will come with sales pages.

For example, if the license allows for it (most do) you can take a PLR ebook, edit and add affiliate links to it, put your name on it, and if you want to make a new cover graphic and you have a new product that you did not have to create from scratch.

Just make sure you are clear what the license says so you know what you can and cannot do.

It's not necessarily true that you can "do just about anything you'd like with the PLR...."

The original creator of the private label license determines the scope of the rights, and it varies from product to product. So be sure to read the license to see what's allowed and what is not allowed. It can get kind of tricky.

Some private label rights licenses allow the buyer to make changes, but only allow personal use rights to be conveyed if they resell the product. The intention is to retain the value of the original product by limiting the number of duplicates in the marketplace. This is commonly called "limited" or "restricted" PLR.

Other PLR licenses allow the private label rights to be passed along when the product is resold. You'll see this kind of license either in cheap or free PLR that's used to build lists, OR in really expensive excellent quality PLR that marketers can repurpose into their own products. This is commonly called "full" PLR.

The key thing to look for with PLR, after you determine the use rights, is what kind of resale rights it has. They can range from no resale rights, to resale rights allowing personal use, or to full resale rights that pass the PLR license to the new buyer.

The only way to know for sure is to read the license that comes with the product.

      Hope this helps.

    Hi,

PLR means private label rights, and it's content that you get the rights to modify any way you please and put your name on as the author.

Here's a good source of high quality PLR materials: PLR - Private Label Rights Article Packs

And of course, there are plenty of PLR packs being offered right here on the Warrior Forum. I suppose if you search for PLR you should be able to find plenty.

    Good luck.
