Google Hot Trends

Some years back I bought a product about Hot Trends from Steven Wagenheim, in the past I've bought some good products from Steven but this one, well somehow or other it was used a few times and then disappeared into my laptops hard drive, but still a dam good product. I resurrected it tonight and want to give it another try. There are a few things I wouldn't mind a bit of advice on.

The last time I looked at Hot Trends they showed the top 100 searches now they only seem to show the top 40. Am I correct in this?

While recognizing that Google is the daddy of all search engines I was wondering if Microsoft's Bing has anything approaching Hot Trends (a link would be appreciated) or indeed any of the other search engines?

Finally, Hot Trends only give US results I'm trying to track down UK/Irish hot trends - any ideas as to where they may be found. Currently I'm examining the use of breaking news stories.

Not entirely true, i know that Google also has a list of other country's hot trends, like
Google Hot Trends <--- india, for example

You're right George R, Google does do a seperate Hot Trends for India. Living here in Ireland it is often difficult enough to get my head around what my cousins on the far side of the pond are doing, much more difficult trying to figure out what's going on in India!
