Default Which article marketing strategy?

Ok so I focus completely on article marketing because I'm starting out but I had a question... Many people write hundreds of articles (10+) per day and say "well whenever I submit more articles I make sales"

Now, I understand how that works but with EZA's clamping down on many similar article submissions and just the fact that writing hundreds per niche might not be the best use of you time I was wondering what you guys thought of a slightly different model:

Why not write for all of your keywords, but once you have a good article for each focus on just getting those best articles ranked for all of the terms you can?

This seems like a more sustainable approach (having articles on google vs. having to submit new ones every day) but I'd like to know what you all think.

thanks!

Does anyone else agree with this or is it suggested I just bombard directories daily?

It depends on which directory you are using - you can't really "bombard" EZA since they have gotten so picky...but if you were submitting to a site like GoArticles, I prefer the high volume route.

Do you find this effective for the long term?

I have done both,

A) Volume submission to EZA and
B) Quality article submission to EZA then syndicating/Backlinks building to put it on top,

in my limited tests I have had more success with 2nd route.

now a days i submit article to my website first, bookmark/Ping to get indexed,
than distributing to Article directories, Web properties, wherever possible.

Coming Soon!!!

Very good question concerning article writing and keywords. I think it sounds like a good idea. It's certainly worth a test.
