Default New to affiliate marketing...

I have spent the last decade chasing the dream of network marketing. Unfortunately, nothing ever panned out so I've decided to switch gears.

Over those years I've gathered an enormous amount of knowledge about marketing both on and offline.

Internet Marketing as a whole is a passion of mine and that little voice inside my head won't let me give up. So I've decided take on the affiliate marketing arena.

I am looking for some 'quality' information from the forum that can get me moving in the right direction and maybe avoid some of the pitfalls that come with this market. Thanks in advance.

Using "justdropped.com", find a domain name that's hot and in high demand. Build a basic website on that domain name, fill it up with links to affiliate websites you accumulated from commission junction, and just watch the $$$ pour in...

If you can find a site that has a decent amount of old links out there to it's homepage you will pickup all of their existing traffic. Google tends to like sites that have a history better than new ones. So I see the advantage of picking up expired domain names. Good luck finding a good one the get scooped up pretty quickly. Every one I searched for and like was already gone.

There is a ton of information out there, finding the "good" information is like trying to find a needle in a haystack. Luckily, you've chosen to begin your journey in a place where the haystacks are 50% hay, 50% needle. Take that in any way you'd like.

I used to use article marketing only, a combination of squidoo and ezine.

It was mainly based off of potpie girls one week marketing. (if you would like you can search for the product)

It made OK money, and I am sure if I had stuck with it after a while it would have been profitable. Except I would have switched from squidoo to weebly.

Here is something I learned recently about making money as an affiliate though, the best approach is to:

1. Have your own website with an autoresponder. Creating a list is HUGE. It takes a lot of work, but a list can really help your conversions out.

2. Have your own product. I know you want to be a super affiliate, but having your own product is both easy and convenient. After people buy it you put them on a separate list, you still send them nice information, but you then advertise affiliate products too.

So there you go, there are a lot of ways to make money online though. Heck someone may come on here and say I am wrong and that you need none of what I listed.

Good luck though, you have the eye of the tiger from the sound of it! Just keep working man, you'll rise to the top.

You can not (if you are serious about this) expect to get a business plan detailed for you in a forum reply.

Find a program, a mentor or a guide you feel is (and reserched to be) trust worthy and follow it/them.
