Paypal Salespage Integration Scripts?

Hey Guys,

Anyone know any software/scripts that I can use with my salespage where I offer a 7 day trial with payment on end of 7th day?

I know paypal allows you to delay a payment if the buyer has a paypal account, but will it also do it if they put their credit card details in?

I want to do the typical, "try it for 7 days free" offer where they put their details in and it gets charged 7 days later. I want to have this working for credit card payments also as not everyone has paypal accounts.

If there is a script that does this already that would be great.

Is there no software for integrating paypal into a salespage? Possibly with an api or partly opensource?

You can do what your OP outlined with a simple PayPal Subscription button; no special 3rd party software necessary. Yet, even through the customer can initiate the transaction via their CC; they'll be instructed to create a PayPal account. This is because PayPal can only ensure recurring payments for C2B via their internal system.

You would simply set your PayPal Subscription button to offer a 7 day "free trial" and then charge your determined amount after those 7 days for whatever interval you choose. If there is no recurring payment to be done, just set it to a one time payment and set your interval to something like 5yrs; (explaining to your customers in the description of your product that the 5yrs is simply a placeholder and their software/service/product will not expire in 5yrs.).

I'd like to do it without them being tied to signing up for a paypal account. I have googled this a lot and most stuff out there seems designed to be attached to ecommerce platforms. I'd like something that has some versatility and features that can be linked to from a straight forward html page.

You can do that with DLGuard by creating a "membership group", and select Paypal as the payment processor.

In DLGuard you set the trial period for $0 for 7 days, then the regular billing for your normal price, and then set the payment cycles to "1".

Would that work for what you want to do?

As Sam said DL Guard will do this and Simple Member Pro does it as well. I believe one or two other scripts do it also but I'm not currently sure which ones will and which ones wont.

Could I have payment option as credit card as well as paypal? *crosses fingers*

EDIT: is it $147 one off fee or recurring payment?

Yes, you sure can have both credit card and Paypal - I just double-checked, and it displayed both options in the Paypal checkout.

The $147 is a once off fee, and then you can used DLGuard forever!

There are various paid scripts which can do this job and some are mentioned in above replies. However, you can use free script from WSO FREE Membership Site Script – Manage Member & Subscription Based Websites FREE if you are low in budget.

I would recommend RAP, but I believe it only works with PP
