CJ Network - Application Denied

Okay how many other Warriors have experienced this.

I developed a website around certain specific products and then went to CJ to get affiliate links for them. I applied to the manufacturers affiliate program and was denied.

WTF...

    Yeah Some network just denied you for no reason.. What you need to do next is just contacting their affiliate manager and talk to them personally.. Show them how serious u are about promoting their product.. give some sales pitch about yourselff.. and most of the time.. I can say 90%++ They will let you in.

    I've been denied many times right after application... LOL.. don't know what's the criteria to get approved in some advertisers..

      Yes, I have had that happen. More than once. You could try somewhere else, like shareasale, or one of the other affiliate networks.

    and tens of thousands of programs. If I were you, I'd apply
    elsewhere.

    You need to look at the types of promotions these affiliate programs allow, some don't allow certain types of sites and traffic generation methods, so they instantly deny your application.

    If your site and traffic method(s) are what they allow, then just contact their aff manager and explain that you are a dedicted affiliate and want to promote their site/products.

    Although there are tons of other affiliate networks out there, CJ is among the most reliable and reputable, so sticking with them is a good thing.

    Some advertisers use your stats as the baseline for approval/denial - I have low stats and when I e-mailed asking why I was instantly denied, most of the answers I got were my stats were too low.

    they're advertisers who only want the big game affiliates.

      CJ also has a rating system. (I'm not that familiar with it, btw)

      One affiliate program I applied for said I would need a CJ rating of at least "3" to be accepted.

      I don't have a rating that I know of...Perhaps something like this happened to you.

      I think you can get around that by having the vendor check you out individually as opposed to the standard computer model for acceptance.

        Hi Mike - sorry to hear this!

        I posted a thread yesterday about wth was the story with CJ.
        I got some good advice and so was just about to start writing the sucky emails that were suggested.

        I have no record with CJ, so no rating at all!
        The site that I wanted to promote these 2 particular products on is brand spankin new - Its not even indexed yet and because I live out of the US - I was told basically to forget about it...............but...............just this morning - I have received confirmation from both the programs I applied to........that Im in!

        So - if you are dead set on your chosen products, and CJ is the only place you can get the links for them - I say push ahead and make it happen!

    Another possibility is that some US merchants will only accept US based affiliates. You should write to the merchant directly
