This question has plagued me all month. I am setting up a webinar series for small businesses. I've used teleseminars and webinars very successfully in the past for niche markets, but these were primarily individual sales people who could easily dial in, or login to watch the training at the drop of a hat from their office.

Because of this, I could host these events at anywhere from 11:00 - 3:00 and get great attendance. Now, with small business owners, I'm concerned. How many will be able to attend? Since I market nationwide, the timing of these webinars is also a concern.

Should I host at 6:00 in the evening? 7, or even 8:00? My second worry is this is a series. They need to attend 2 - 3 days of this webinar series for me to get the conversion. The material is very valuable, and when I host live in person events, we get an excellent conversion ratio.

But I'm concerned that doing this online, showing up for 1 day might be simple, but setting aside time for 2 - 3 days could be far more difficult. ANy thoughts on this? Anyone host events for small business owners who might be able to offer some feedback? I thank you in advance.

Always great comments on the WF.

That's a tough one. A restaurant owner would not find 6 PM a very good time for them because of the dinner crowd as an example. With different time zones and such I think it's almost impossible to find a time that works for everyone.

That leaves recording the webinar and giving access to anyone that missed the live event. That way they can catch up. I always appreciate those that provide a recording. It is almost a certainty for me that something comes up last minute when I am scheduled to attend a webinar and I have to view the recording later.

Yeah, record and offer download for those who missed it, be sure to follow up with email asking questions about the seminar so they will watch it. Lol

How about two sessions, one mid-day, the other in the evening?
