$50,000 (50 Thousand Dollars) before the Holidays - My Plan

Hey Warriors,

So, I'll make this real quick coz the idea just came to me last night and I'm still brainstorming on how to make this plan better and faster.

The Goal is to make $50,000 by the holidays, let's say a few days before Christmas. (That's not much more than a month, really.) It's for a charity that I've been involved with for several years. (Don't let the charity thing concern you - thats just my own thing I've been involved with for several years.)

The secondary goal is to get Warriors focused and brainstorming collectively towards a specific goal, and plan, that any Warrior can use to make their and their family's holiday (and financial future) a little better.


My personal plan for this still being tweaked so it's nowhere near ready. Plus, the actual blueprint won't be completed till the completion of the goal anyway - since I'll be documenting everything till the very last day i.e. a few days before Christmas.

My plan is to give Warriors this report at no charge. Think of it as a holiday gift. (I will be selling it to non-Warriors for 35 bucks or something.)

I'm not going to make a mega pitch here. If you've read any of my reports (free or paid,) you know what kind of product you can expect from me.

Here's the fun part...

And I can NOT use my existing mailing lists to do it.

Of course, the obvious alternative that came to mind immediately was, "Run a WSO." And I will do that.

But there's gotta be more than that. The report will include everything I do to reach my goal.


Anyways...here's how you can benefit in another way...and help other Warriors in the process...

If you can come up with a solid plan to generate $50k by the holidays, or even $10,000, I would like to include your plan in my product package. (See update on this below...)

You'll possibly get a lot of exposure from this as the product spreads out there. I will try to incorporate some viral mechanisms into it as well.

Update:

Your Warrior submissions may be part of a separate package. I haven't quite figured out the whats/hows for that.

It may be a package that only those Warriors who show that they're already setting goals and taking action towards a better financial future would get.

It could also be a package that only the Warriors who participated (submitted their own $10k-$50k plans) would get the rights to sell. Or something... I'm open to ideas.

And, of course, you have to give me permission to reprint your submission (your links will be included in the reprints, obviously.)

I have a tiny hunch that I'll get more than a few submissions ;-) so yours has to be good in order to make it into the package.

Having said that, it doesn't have to be complicated or flashy. The goal is to make money with it, not to impress others on how many marketing terms and techniques we know.

Having said that, the plan can be as creative and "out of the box" as needed.

I'm not sure yet if the Warrior submissions should be a part of the initial package or something that's only available to action-oriented Warriors. Your input is welcome on how to do this...

Bryan, question.

Does this plan have to work for somebody with:

1. No list
2. No marketing skills
3. No product creation skills.
4. No freelancing skills (copywriting, graphic design, etc.)

The reason I am asking is because I actually did such a thing last year
that made me $16,000 in the month of December. It was a short term plan
but required that the person have a list and also be a product creator.

So if this has to apply to somebody literally starting from scratch, I think
the members would need to know that so they don't submit plans that
won't work for 97% of the people.

I can't use my own list for this. So, let's assume that the people using this won't have any lists...not to start off with anyway.

As for the marketing skills, hmm...
Well, let's assume that they've been hanging around the forum for at least a few months and have a general idea/understanding of marketing.

Speed, and time available to work with, are major factors here, obviously.

I think the most obvious thing right now is maybe some sort of product creation to the Christmas niche!

What? Hmmmm, I am unsure but it is probably one of the hottest niches at this time of year!

Maybe, as many Warriors as possible could come together, create the ultimate site for a Christmas niche related product and all do one thing!

All write 1 article and promote it for a separate keyword each!

All make 1 video and promote it for a separate keyword each!

Thanks for the awesome thread! It's a great goal, and I'm going to work on my own plan this weekend. I love this type of challenge, because if you decide to set a big goal like this, your powerful subconscious comes up with ways to make it happen.

It's cool that you framed it as a goal rather than a question (eg: Do you think it's possible?), as it focuses your mind on making it happen rather than reasons why it might not work.

You are correct.

Just to clarify for anyone who's wondering I am NOT asking anyone to help me raise the money through this post. I'm doing that part on my own, as I've done for the past several years.

AND, I'm offering Warriors, who are interested, a chance to submit their own plans of how they would do this if they had to.

Since my deadline to raise money is the same as the deadline for Warriors to submit their plans, it's unlikely that I will be using someone else's plan to raise the money. (And, not that it matters, but I do have a little marketing experience of my own, so I can manage. lol)

For anyone who cares to know what I will do with the money...

It all actually started right here, on the Warrior forum many years ago, thanks in big part to Allen. Warriors who have been here for a while may remember that.

Since then, I've been raising money every year to help out a few families during the holiday season. I'll write more about that later...

The charity is just my thing. No one else needs to do that.
The plans that Warriors submit don't have to be for a charity, as mentioned earlier.

Folks, let's be sure (or as sure as one can be) that the plans you submit are realistic, and workable, especially within the timeframe we've got.

Keep in mind that many Warriors here are not fulltime marketers, i.e. they have 8-5 jobs.

That's kinda the idea of the original post. I will be sharing my strategy for how I plan to reach that goal.

I could share all the pieces as I put them into action, but I don't want to turn this into a blog.

As mentioned in the original post, I will definitely run some WSOs as part of the plan. I've bumped a few of my previous ones.

I will also repackage some of my existing products into attractive packages with very attractive prices. And, another part of the plan is to go through the tons of products (RRs, PLRs, etc) that have been collecting on my harddrive and start putting those to use in various ways.

Those are just a few things I will start out with.

Remember, the goal here is not to show others how many fancy and complex marketing techniques I know. It's to make money, period.

Most of us have a lot of resources at our disposal that we're not using (including me.) So, that should always be the first step: Take a quick inventory of what you already have that you can turn into cash immediately, whether it's products, skills, services, whatever.

So, get started! :-)

I think we're going with "no list," jimmytron, since that's kinda what I'll be doing. At least, no list of your own to start with.

Although, it looks like this thread is in danger of being deleted.

I've had some great responses from Warriors, which I appreciate very much, but there also seems to be some stuff going on that's...disappointing. And, that's an understatement.

Many retailers recover from an entire year of failure during Christmas alone. I can attest to this when I worked in retail for a major chain. Nearly 50% of their yearly revenue came in during Christmas. Insanity. It can be done...I'm certain.

I am sure your plan work.

I do charity drive for children from low income families before Christmas
every year.

Two days ago, I send out a sms to all my friends saying that I want to buy a gift for these children from this centre and reply me if interested.

The target is 30 gifts.

In the past, before I learnt about email or sms marketing, I will take 30 days to do that.

This time is different.

I sent out an sms in the morning and by night time, I have more than $600 transferred into my bank account.

I have exceeded my target by 10 gifts.

The plan is for me to get the gifts myself and send to the beneficiaries.

So it is $700 within 3 hours. I only sent out to 20 names...20 good friends of mine.

So $50,000 within 1.5 months is doable.
That is about $1,100 a day.
And I collected $700 within 3 hours and only from 20 names.

Just increase the scale.

If there is no contact, go somewhere to build contacts with someone with lists. (I have)
I am sure with a great cause like this, many will raise hands to help. (I will)

(Bryan, I will help you though I dont really know you. But I am very attracted to what you want to do to help others.)

Above is the simple plan. and it will work for anyone as long as you have a mobile phone and friends' contact.

And I know many of us have mobile phones.

Not this time.

More than half of my online marketing efforts has been focused on niche markets. In fact, the first report I wrote back in 1990's was a niche (weight loss) report. One of my first websites was all about secret niche reports.

However...my current situation is actually a real one. I'm not just going to write about how I could make $50k before the holidays, it's a real goal.

So, I'm going to stick with what can bring in the cash the quickest and easiest.

That's actually one of the biggest mistakes many marketers make. When something's on the line and you've got a real deadline, you can't afford to "try" stuff. You have to stick to the fundamentals.

I'm sure it's possible to make $50k in such a short time with just niche marketing, but I'm not going to try it right now. I'm not interested in testing my skills right now.

I'll use everything at my disposal that has worked for me in the past. (That's the important piece to get.)

That includes a mix of IM and niche marketing. That's the strategy I'm going with anyway.

You suggested warriors have until Dec. 22 to submit their idea, I think it will be to late for the people who raise their hand (like me) and who would like to learn from you...

Please think about it again! if we have access to the repport after dec. 22, how can we profit form it? how can we make $50,000 with these ideas. I'm sure these ideas would be awesome but I'm afraid, it will be too late to apply them and profit from them.
