Warriors,

Today I have my lucky horse shoe and have been holding onto it tightly for the last few hours. I don't believe in bad luck on Friday the 13th, but it was definitely one of those days. For starters, I work with somebody who uses the software infusionsoft to build websites. I began working on some meta tags and descriptions for this companys websites and messed up one of the web pages on their site. I couldn't figure it out for the life of me and actually had to call the client who knows this software. Then I've been working on an wordpress affiliate site of mine for about 6 weeks now. I went to upgrade wordpress and the site crashed! AHHHH!!!! Luckily I called my hosting company and they were able to get to the bottom of this. I seriously thought my entire site was gone.

I'll be sure to avoid stepping on any cracks on the sidewalk and avoiding black cats today.

Think I'm going to go home, drink some beers and watch some Friday the 13th movies...

I'm the envy of everyone who hates Friday the 13th.

    It's my lucky day.

Good things happen to me for no real reason on Friday the 13th!

I've been working on a product. I have a dilemma. The product is not ready. I have $350 in outstanding bills that need to be paid today. I am down to my last $25. I am out of time. The one and only rational chance I have to make $350 today is to finish up what I've got on my product, buy a WSO, and cross my fingers that even unfinished it's good enough to sell enough copies in the next six hours.

Sounds like a typical Friday the 13th story, right?

And then, out of the blue, the prospect who effectively ran away screaming when my no-obligation quote came in WAY over budget... decides to move forward. Blam, I get a cash injection into my PayPal account, the bills get paid, and I have breathing room to finish the product.

Plus, the client's project is really cool and quite different from what I've been doing lately, without being much of a challenge - the market is hungry, the product sells itself, and I actually need the product myself... but I get a review copy. So it's like getting a free product and a paid vacation straight out of nowhere.

I mean, seriously, if I had made a wish list for an awesome day today? That's what would be on it. I wanted to pay my bills, have the spare funds to take my time finishing the product right, get a break from all this monotony, and have a solid product to improve my life. And I got all of that, all at once, in a single email on Friday the 13th.

Plus I just started a coaching course this morning, which promises to be pretty cool, and my deliverable task for tomorrow's session is something I've been procrastinating about for months! I have to do it! It's my homework! So by the end of the day, I'll even have made new progress that I wouldn't otherwise have made.

I mean, honestly, I couldn't be having a better day. Feel free to hate me.

Hey, CDarklock, we have something in common! Friday the 13th is my lucky day, too! But then, I've never been one to pay much attention to the whole "black cats are unlucky, don't walk under ladders, and don't open an umbrella indoors" things.

Congratulations on your "cash infusion" and good luck with your project endeavors ... from a fellow Ft13th lover!

Also forgot to mention that I forgot to cloak my links again after my site crashed and came back for a good 2 hours, so I have that thought in the back of my mind that Google crawled my site, saw my affiliate links and will now sandbox my site. AHHHH!!!!!

Going out for food and beer now. Oh wait! What if something unlucky strikes me again? AHHH!!!!

By the way, anybody seen that comedy/horror film in the 80's called Saturday the 14th? Not sure why I thought of this film and decided to actually type it into this message...
