We have 3 OTOs that ascend from $97 to $997. We do not pay commissions on these OTOs but we do give 110% commissions for our front-end product. We found more people will promote when we tell them we'll pay 110% commissions up front.... than if we told them they'll get 33% of the OTOs IN CASE someone buys them. Plus it doesn't let's the "cat out of the bag" regarding the OTOs at the end of the offer...since we want to keep them a surprise. You need a strong back-end funnel to do this though...especially if you're paying for traffic. That's what works for us...ultimately you need to test yourself. Rick |

I have an oto on on of my Clickbank sites. If someone just signs up for a free ebook on one of my sites I hit them up with a one time offer and if they take it and an affiliate sent the customer to my homepage the affiliate gets 70% of the OTO as it is product #2 also in the same Clickbank account and product #1 pays 70% so thats what affiliate gets for product #2 automatically. As another WF member stated, the higher the commission you offer on the front end, the more likely your affiliates will want to promote your front end offer and will not know or care about commissions on the back end. It is very lucrative in the eyes of an affiliate though if you have a large back end sales funnel and you do offer commissions on all your upsells and downsells. It becomes a strong selling point for your affiliates, earn $XX - $X,XXX from promoting your product or service. Remember, pay your affiliates first and pay yourself last and in doing so, you keep your affiliates happy, attract more affiliates and your affiliates will promote your products and service until the end of time. | |
