so i just had an idea here, if i post on high PR forums outside of my niche and have a link to my website will SE's look favorably on those links? I.E. being in the fitness niche and leaving a comment on a computer programming forum? |

Google looks at the quality of the backlinks as SE experts say. If the site that gives you a backlink also related to fitness niche, it will bring more weight for the link. . |

With most forums you can't link to your site within posts. You can usually set up a sig though. You need to be sure the forum is do follow and also like radhika, the links will count for more if they are in your niche. |
