Do warriors need audio?

My background is in audio recording. I do a lot of instrumental music, and it keeps piling up with no outlet. I wondered if anyone here has any real need for audio such as background music, sound effects, etc.

I'm working on a site for my music. Any opinions on how I should structure it? Straight MP3 sales? Membership? I definitely want to market it as production music for use in visual media of any kind.

If anyone out there has any ideas about this, or needs some music, let me know. I need some input.

Thanks,
T.R.

set up either a PLR site with music clips or a pay a buck a clip site.

    Best I can do.

i am a musician as well but the only way I have ever made money with it was live performances.

Why just think about the music?

I'd love to see a good, solid guide to pro-quality audio recording for amateur musicians. I know a lot of other people who'd like to see one, too. I'll bet Steven Wagenheim is one of them.

You might want to check out a site like AudioJungle, which is run by the very well-respected company Envato. They basically allow you to sell your music through their gateway. They handle the payment processing and order fulfillment. They take a sizable cut, but if you're just trying to test the waters, they might be a good starting point while you're working on launching your own site.

You may also find some luck recording voiceovers if you have access to amateur voice actors. I have a very low budget setup here (RODE NT1-A run through an Mbox) but I can attest to the fact that having high quality voiceovers increases my conversion rates considerably. I imagine that many others are aware of this as well.

I think I'm going to work on a good production music site. I've been recording music for about 15 years now, but I've never really gotten serious about trying to make some money off of it.

I've got a lot of music right now if anyone is interested. If you need something in the way of production music, let me know and I'll see if I've got the vibe you're looking for. I'll do the first few for free just to get things rolling.

Also, if anyone needs ANYTHING in the way of audio, I'd be glad to help out anyway I can.

        Thanks everyone!
