Friends, i got a domain name aimarrow.com in which i thought of developing a game, i wrote the script for it but later i decided to use clearchance.com which was better name for the game theme. and i had another idea for aimarrow.com this was all before i knew about flipping websites etc, but after i heard of flipping i am confused ... because aimarrow.com is too good domain to sell and i don't even know how much i can sell it for! anyone have any suggestions? i am also writing a story for aimarrow.com but games developing cost money that is the problem captions .. that i got in mind aimarrow - ... use the arrow and hit your aim! clearchances - ... all you need to take is a few chances! i want answers for: 1. how much i can sell aimarrow.com 2. is it worth selling? 3. if i decide to co-develop a website, how can i make a deal legally with others, to be clear in terms of shares etc. |

1. It's an empty site - so I gues $8.99 or however much it cost to register the name. 2. No - there's nothing there to sell 3. Don't know. Maybe you should consult a lawyer who understands internet related law? |

they are OK domain names, but nothing great. I don't think you'd get more than $10 |

There is "domaining" where one can buy domains that will increase in value over time, or are highly sought after KW dense domains. Then there is flipping. What I have seen with flipping is one creates a website for the purpose of selling it off. It can be as simple as building a blog with some adsense code that is reliant on the free content on the site, or it can be as crazy as a membership site that is built up and sold. It is my understanding that you want to have a full package together - not just the domain. The site should already be in a position to make money. Pricing can be determined on what the site currently converts at, or what content is provided on the site. Just googling your terms, I came up with information like "how do I aim a bow and arrow." If you don't want to go the create a game route, you could possibly research a bit more and develop a site all about targets, bows, arrows, and flip it. You'd want to research the niche first to confirm the demand, but there is an ezine article in spot #1 that is selling a product about archery - which is usually a good sign. |

I have page 4 ranked buymarineboats.com for sale but could not get $50 for it. You will have to develop the domain name and try to earn some money if you want to sell it for something great. People flip domain names though but developing it gives u a better chance. |

Hi brucekaushik, As a domain seller and site flipper I will say the domain alone will have little value to it. You will have better luck putting a few days work into by making a blog. The name aimarrow.com sounds more like a hunting (deer) site or an archery site rather than a gaming site. I would make a blog around one of those themes, monetize it with Amazon and Adsense. Create or buy a series of say 10 articles and have them set to drip feed to the blog automatically. This way when you go to flip it you can say the site requires little to no maintenance or "keyword-rich content added automatically". You get the idea. With some minor SEO and creating backlinks you should be on your way to creating interest in your site. Your site doesn't have to be making a single dime in income to have potential and interest from buyers, however if you have traffic and links from Google/Yahoo and other backlinks and even a little income your site will sell for more. In either case I wish you luck! |

It is much better to develop a quality website. it will worth more than the domain name.

Rather than manually add post to your blog, you can add articles/posts on a time schedule you dictate. Once its set up it is hands free at least until you run out of articles. You can also add articles from other site using RSS to bring those posts to your site. Good luck! | |
