Is PrettyLink a safe way to cloak affiliatelinks?

Is Pretty Link a safe way to cloak affiliatelinks? Or is there a chance that I can lose commissions?

I used a WP plugin to cloak my affiliate links for awhile (it wasn't Pretty Link) and I loved and recommended to everyone. Until the plugin developer stopped working on it. With all the Wordpress upgrades that come along each one can break a plugin. And that happened to me. After the second time it happened and ALL my links died I stopped using plugins to cloak my affiliate links.

Something similar happened to Pretty Link. My links didn't work all of a sudden and then I found out that Pretty Link needed an update. But for now, I don't know what to think of it. Just started out that's why I was wondering if other people were using it to cloak links.

I am using it and love it. So far no problems, but future results are never guaranteed. :-)
