Hi all, I am living in Australia and if I work as an affiliate or internet marketer (as many of you all do) in general, must I register and set up a company to be considered as legal working? How about tax issue and so on? Appreciate your answer thanks.......... Michael Thai |

Hello Micheal, I am not sure you would need to go and fully register a company, you can if you want get a free abn in your name or you can register a business name and apply a abn to that. i am not even sure if you need any of that, if it were me your best bet will be to speak with your accountant first, its better to seek correct advice and do things once. |

If you have a company you can get tax breaks. In some countries personal tax can be very high so I would consider setting up a company of some kind.

hi michael, i've seen some affiliates set up companies to protect themselves from getting sued. there are some obligations that go along with having a company, so id do your due dilligence with the ABR or other government bodies to clear things up
