Aweber Question - If I Do This, Will This Happen?

I sent a broadcast email to my list a few days ago. This list is a list of buyers who bought a course of mine.

A few minutes ago I took that broadcast message and made it as a follow up message. So when anyone new buys and then gets added, they receive this message that day.

When doing this, do the people ALREADY on my list get these follow up messages now?

Perhaps a stupid question since the follow up emails go out according to how many days after someone signs up. But I just want to make sure. Want to be certain the new follow up messages won't now go out according to when I create them....as in follow up message one starts today and then message 2 goes out according to the interval I set.

Thank you.

Yes and No. If you sent out the broadcast today and you set it as a follow-up on day 5 (for example), anyone who joined your list less than 5 days ago will see that message again.

However, people who joined more than 5 days ago will not see it again.

I went through the same thing myself a while ago and used to worry about it...but now it doesn't bug me too much if they see the same email twice.

      Unfortunately, that's not true.
If you had 3 followup messages till now and you added a 4th one to be sent out after say 5 days after the 3rd msg - EVERYBODY who already got the message #3 more than 5 days will receive it.

        I'm not sure I understand you 100%.

Lets say I have 3 followup messages. Then I added a fourth one to be sent out 5 days after #3. But, I added the message (4) at least 6 days AFTER message 3 went out, then anyone on my list who saw #3 six days ago (or more) will get #4?

Wow, I hope that makes sense. So many numbers to keep track of. :p

Yes, that's exactly what I was saying.
