I've searched everywhere but ther is only info on adding other feeds to your site but I want to know how to create a feed for my site that I can submit to feedagg and places like that and have the little orange box on the site. Canybody give me a hand please? |

I believe you can do it only in XSitePro2. It's in the "Others" tab.

I have had a look in the "other" tab and the only choice for feed is the xml syndication. Do I use this? I have tried to create a feed but it doesn;t seem to work. I have googled it too but nothing seems to come up but I have seem other xsitepro websites with the little orange feed box but no instruction on how to do it. Anyone else care to add? |

When you're in the "designer" screen of your web page, right click on the part of the page you want your RSS feed to be located. Select RSS Wizard from the right click menu. The first tab will allow you to select the feed you want to insert and the second tab will let you choose how this feed will look on your page. You will have a choice of categories, such as Business, Current Affairs etc. NB You'll need to ensure the feed list is up to date - just click update feed list (and ensure you're online). Once you've selected your feed and decided on the design, click insert and the feed place marker will appear on your page. You won't actually see the feeds until you preview the site online. There's a more comprehensive description of this process on page 285 of the Tools manual which you should have with the latest version of XSitePro2. HTH Frank |
