wordpress problem? cant log out?

i have no idea why this is happening but i cannot log out of my wp blog? i cant even click on anything within my admin ( i can see it all but when i click somethng on ex: plugins, or edit posts ...) nothing happens and the site eventually goes to a blank screen? any help? i do not know ftp that well but i can try if i need to do something in there.. i have Filezilla

Have you installed any plugins since the last time your wp blog functioned properly?

If so, FTP to your plugin directory, and delete the plugin.

Sometimes, older plugins aren't compatible with newer versions of WP, so they cause errors.


Since you aren't too familiar with FTP, maybe this will help a little bit. Usually, the plugins directory will be found in /wp-content/plugins

thanks ! i will try this! for some reason though, i can access my site with no problems in internet explorer but not firefox. however, i also have 3 other wp sites and they all work fine in firefox?

there was a plugin i recently added and i deleted it and now i am back up and running.!
