Default Offline Marketing Help for Newbies

For everyone trying to tap into the offline market, there is still gold out there. Its literally just laying on the ground. GO PICK IT UP!

Offline newbies, here it is. If you think IM is too tough for you, or are trying to earn a little startup for your IM efforts, here are a few things that may help you get started.

Getting started offline is easy, you just have to talk to people. That's it. Do everything you can to meet business owners. When you go to your favorite hole in the wall restaurant, talk to the owner (he or she is definitely there) about what their plans are for the future. Everyone wants to expand.

Breaking the ice with people like this is easy. And I recommend for your first few projects, you patronize a new local restaurant, and meet the owner. They will be happy to talk.

Secondly, what do you offer these people? Well if they have a website, offer to improve it, or do a little SEO to it. Ranking high locally in the restaurant biz isn't that hard. Especially for someone who frequents warrior forum.

On the other hand, if they do not have a website, offer to build one for them. Tell them simplicity is the key, and you can design a simple and effective SEO friendly website for them (often a modified wordpress template) .

So now you may be asking "what if I can't do web design?". Well thats easy, you can OUTSOURCE. Yes, you can still profit this way. Outsourcing things you cannot do yourself is the key to success. You can charge clients a premium price for premium results. So make sure that you allow yourself some profit.

At any rate, I'm here to help and currently my expertise is offline marketing. I'm trying to transition to online marketing so my wife and I can spend more time at the house with our daughter. And I'm more than happy to help anyone with questions about offline marketing.

I also will trade information (ie: you help me with IM, and I help you with OM).

I will also be putting up some information on my blog (in my sig) on Offline Marketing and LOCAL AFFILIATE MARKETING (OOOOHHHHH).

Cheers everyone, have a great night!
