Default How to automatically deliver digital products using aweber?

Hi warriors! I really need your help...

I’m trying to use Aweber to automatically send a “thank you email” to deliver digital products to someone who buys from me through PayPal. It seems that they (Aweber) don’t have this feature… I can only use their “email Parser” but, this will required that my buyer subscribe to my list… (That is not very friendly)
Do you have any idea or suggestion? How do you delivery your digital product?
Thank you in advance for your help!

Will this allow to send an automatic email to them... (with the link)
what is important for me is to be able to send *this email (even if it 3:00 am)

You can just send them to the download page after they've paid though Paypal, or is there some problem with doing that?

Although I think it makes much more sense to collect their email address, then send them to the download page via Aweber. This way you're building a list of proven buyers that you can send more offers to.

Paul.

ummm.. why don't you want proven buyers on your list????????????????

Best way to build your email list is adding them as they buy something.

Hi ALL

I think all the guy is asking here is at the stage when payment is made at the paypal order page, is there a way to trigger an automatic email at that specific point that in essence is the thank u email containing his product download link i.e automatic digital delivery.

I know you can direct customer to a thank u page after buying but sometime its not always possible due to computer error that may prevent the buyer reaching that page. In this case obviously a digital delivery saves the day.

I use to send them to the successful download page, but sometime I receive buyer complaints "I dont receive the download page" (it is because sometime they don't pay attention)

I do want to collect their name and emails address, but the problem I feel that is not to friendly to ask your client to sign to your list in other to receive the product that they have paid for... you see my point.

If you are not necessarily tied to Aweber, there is a warrior here who is selling a delivery script. I tested it out and it looks good. As far as I know there is a one time fee for unlimited use. The name if the warrior is OMI or OPI. It is either one of those.

You can also look at e-junkie, for $5/mth they offer something similar.

You may want to checkout E-junkie. They are a shopping cart provider and digital product delivery provider who enable you to easily hook into PayPal. They offer AWeber integration. Basically how it would work is that someone would purchase from your site. They'd be sent an email from E-junkie with the download link and then immediately afterwards, sent an opt-in/"Thank you for your purchase!" email.

This isn't exactly the solution you described, but it may be the easiest to implement if you're not comfortable/familiar with the inner-workings of PayPal's IPN notification system.

I use e-junkie and Paypal in combination and it's a great, easy solution for like $5/month. You can even tie it into your Aweber acct, but I haven't done it. I read the tutorial on it, and it seems fairly straightforward. Worth a shot at such a cheap price, and the download is protected.

You're right some people don't like having to optin after they buy something in order to get it. I have solved this by asking them to optin to recieve updates and offers or new additions added to the members area. Then right below the optin box I say..."or click here to go right to the members area now if you don't want to recieve updates and offers.

This keeps everyone happy and most people will opt in from my experience with my sites.

This is what I'm using, and it's working well. I also have it set up that when someone downloads a sample from my e-course they are added to a separate Aweber list from the buyers.

I’m not sure this will solve your problem, but I use eJunkie to deliver my downloads.

You upload your digital products to eJunkie and then generate the PayPal button to place on your site.

After they pay they are sent to eJunkie to download.

Only $5 per month for 10 products..

Simple to use.
