Default youtube download and conversion site?

I had a link to a site that would download and automatically convert the flv file to AVI, but I has lost the link.

Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Very, very close, but the one I need just creates a download. It's for my 89 year old dad...needs to be super GI proof.

So your Grandpa is going to do the conversions himself?

I use a free utility called Panzera FLV to AVI that works pretty well but it's certainly not as easy as a website, but likely much much faster.

Really close, but it might have to do. I was hoping for the one with an AVI option...he's trying to make a ppt file for a party. I can convert his mp4 files if necessary.

Thanks

Ideally he can download in a format he can just plug and play in ppt. I had the site bookmarked, but can't remember what computer I was on.

Trying to get him to use a conversion software would send him out into a snow bank.
