We hear about bad customer service, but how about this as a great customer service. I bought a product in Aug, and was ready to use it today. I went hunting for it and couldn't find it on my hard disk. The problem was I didn't know the name of the file. I went back to the website, and found the email address. I emailed the person, and 30 mins later I received an email saying, it is easier to attach the product to email than giving you the name of every file you bought. They had gone to 1shopping cart matched my email address and sent it all to me including the original invoice. 10/10 goes to Peter Bowerman (have edited to add his name in) |

Hi, That's really a excellent customer service! There people who are very good to it. It's almost natural for them. It's not for nothing that the same clients come back over and over. Hugo |

I think it's okay to say when you are saying something good, Bev. Rule #1 just says if you have a problem with someone not to bring it up here but it doesn't say anything about not being able to compliment people. Tina |

It's too bad you can't say "who" as that is the type of service that really exemplifies the types of businesses and ethics IM'ers could/should be doing business with, and a damn fine example all should be following. keith |

Don't mean to seem like I'm here to talk about myself, but.. I have this compulsive habit of replying as soon as I get a message. And following through with everything they need. I don't see it as something 'good' per se - I just really believe in that ooold saying 'treat others how you would like to be treated'. The seller does deserve respect for what he did though, ofcourse .If nothing makes sense, it's because I haven't slept in 2 days .Cheers, -Aidan. |

I don't recognize the name but if I come across him, I'll throw business his way if I can. Both online and off, I always prefer to deal with businesses that know the value of providing good service. Tina |

Good post, Bev. I think it's a point lost on a lot of business owners because unless you specifically ask new customers, you may never learn that a lot of them "found" you from word of mouth from one of your other customers. People talk. People Tweet. They email. They Facebook. It's imperative nowadays to give great customer service, especially if you do business online.
