When building links for my keywords, do I have to use the exact same link to see major results or does it not matter...just as long as it points to the same domain?

I've had success using the same link text going to the same URL. Others here will report good success using multiple anchor text and links going to various pages of their site. My general rule is to use the same anchor text (the main keyword) and always link to the homepage if it's a tough keyword to rank for. Otherwise, mixing it up doesn't really hurt the efficiency of how you spend your link building time. John |

I go with a slight mix myself unless of course you have other natural links that vary

use the same anchor text until you rank top 5 for it. then start to vary. |
