First product finished how do i legally protect it?

Hi guys,

I have finished my first product in a PDF format.

I have password protected the document from editing not from opening (I know there are get arounds )

But I was looking for advice on my legal notice to protect it from copying.

I've done a search but didn't come up with anything great.

thanks for the advice

It's actually quite difficult to protect your content. Once it's shared, you will have a difficult time protecting it.

    Lawyer comes to mind.

But other than that, you can simply copyright your stuff and hope nobody decided to steal and repackage/reword your stuff.

    Cheers

Go to the Library of Congress website and register your document. It will cost you $35 (a LOT less than a lawyer) and you'll have your proof and protection.

Uhm, not necessarily. You have to state that you are the creator of the content and that you prohibit any sharing of the content.

Do not wasting your precious time
            to worrying about your products.

There're countless ways a thief can abuse your product.

Do whatever it takes to protect it first.
            Then forget it.

And keep creating next, next of your products!

              Thanks Guys,
this isn't a master piece so I'm not too worried about major copying.

But it is my first product and i want to get the basics right

Do you have a link to support that?

This also holds true for websites as well though you know how easily one can swipe the code of a website...
